When I got the car home, I noticed that this small plastic trim piece was loose on the drivers side door jam. It was attached with a bit of double-sided foam tape. My 1985 Corvette had foam rubber inserts (as shown in the last photo) to hide the gaps around this part. So did GM redesign this or is this plastic an after-market dress-up?
