| Here's a few shots of the Sport Seats. The Bolsters are attached to the sides of the plastic seat-back shell. Thanks to a CorvetteForum.com member I think I now know how the factory managed to attach the bolsters to the seat-back shell. Apparently the bolster leather's are attached to the seat-backs and then wrapped over the bolster foams. Then the center section leather and foam are attached to the seat-back shell. Once the bolsters and the center section are in place, the bolsters are hog-ringed to each side of the center section. This gives the seat a nice clean appearance but makes it impossible to access the lumbar bladders and the bolster motor without cutting the hog-rings. |
