This is a real curiosity, it appears that GM used two plastic handles on the rear cargo shade?! The handles are attached in exact opposite orientation to each other and the hidden handle does not have the three small rubber bumpers installed.
I have confirmed that other Corvettes left the factory like this but no one seems to have any idea why.
Check yours. You might be surprised that you never noticed this before!
