A couple of shots of the Hood Support on my 85 Corvette. Everything I've heard so far makes me think that this was probably an aftermarket conversion kit. The hood has a couple of threaded holes on the right side where the 'Scissor' type hood support could have been mounted and it looks like these holes may have been used at some point in time.
